Welcome to St. Joseph Parish in Shawnee, Kansas. We are blessed to serve the communities of Shawnee and Merriam, Kansas with a vibrant parish community that welcomes all and provides opportunities for spiritual, educational and social growth.
Monthly Food Drive
The Parish Food Drive is held the 2nd weekend of each month. Please bring non-perishable food items to the main vestibule of the church. Your support (groceries or cash donations) is greatly appriciated. Please call the Parish Office if you have any questions (631-5983). Thank you for your generosity.

Sedar Meal
The Seder meal features the story of the Passover, eating of symbolic foods and the opportunity to experience the ritual events, which occurred in the Old Testament story of the Passover. Families are asked to bring a potluck dish (casserole, vegetable, or salad) to share. Meat, desserts and beverages are provided. Reservations must be made before Wednesday, March 24, as space is limited to 200 participants. Please register by phone at 631-8923.
