Troop 194 operates under the National Charter of Boy Scouts of America through the sponsorship of St. Joseph Church. Boy Scout membership is open to any boy above the age of 10 1/2 and under the age of 18. Scouting offers to help boys work toward character development, citizenship training, personal fitness and spiritual growth through interaction and leadership of other boys in patrol meetings, troop meetings, special outings, camp-outs, summer camp, high adventure and other fun activities.

The troop meets on Mondays, 7-9 pm in McDevitt Hall. Please check the weekly bulletin for schedule. BSA national registration is usually about $25 per boy each year, which includes insurance and a subscription to Boys Life magazine. Troop 194 annual dues are $50 per boy.

Special Notes

All adult leaders must attend VIRTUS (Protecting Our Children) training. This is required by St. Joseph Church. You may register for an upcoming session at www.virtusonline.org. If you’ve already taken training, please watch your email for bulletins and training renewal notices.
