Parish Eucharistic Ministers are available to take Communion to those who are confined in nursing homes, are homebound, or are in the hospital.

Communion is offered weekly at Sharon Lane Health Services, Shawnee Gardens Nursing Center, Sweet Life at Rosehill, Sweet Life Memory Care (Shawnee), Trinity Nursing & Rehab Center, and at Bluejacket Lodge. 

Communion visits to parishioners who are homebound and unable to attend Mass are made by our volunteers when requested through the church office. 

Mass is celebrated by one of our priests once a month at Sharon Lane, Shawnee Gardens, Sweet Life at Rosehill and Trinity.  The Legion of Mary prays the Rosary each week at these nursing home/care centers.

Our hospital ministry volunteers participate in the Johnson County Pastoral Region Ministry of offering Communion daily to every Catholic who is in the Johnson County hospitals.  The program is a unique, well-organized one with a nun who is coordinator and the Catholic chaplain at the hospitals.
