Circles are sponsored under the auspices of the Ladies Guild: St. Agnes - Organized to sew and crochet baby items for Catholic Social Services. St. Jude - Caters various social events (wedding receptions, K of C functions, etc.) to provide monetary assistance to foreign and community missions and to St. Joseph Parish special needs. St. Joseph - Holds an annual plant sale; responsible for various parish projects and social events; purchases items for the church (such as planters and tables) and for the rectory. St. Martha – Organized in March 2000, was formed to make quilts to raffle off for the church. All experience levels are welcome, from the novice to the pro, as we go through each step of quilting from fabric and selection, assembly of the quilt top, and hand quilting. St. Patrick - Crafters circle, making various arts and crafts with profits specified for social and charitable events; makes dolls for the Extravaganza doll booth which they host. The circle also hosts the food booth at the Fall Festival.
St. Therese Little Flower - St. Therese Circle was formed in July 1997, with the primary purpose of promoting devotion to St. Therese. The circle meets monthly to pray for vocations and other special parish and parishioner needs. |
